Why are we not more angry about it?

Yes, the dignity of African people continues to be derided in the eyes of the whole world. So why are we not more angry about it? In the pamphlet by Stephane Hessel ‘Time for Outrage’ this foe of Nazism said ‘Look around you, you will see the reasons to justify your indignation: the treatment of illegal immigrants, those without documents,  and the plight of Palestinians in the Gaza strip, human rights in most of the African countries.’ Yes, there are so many situations which anger us and which ought to push us to a greater commitment in the service of the human race, created in the image of God. However, to make sure that these actions are at the service of human dignity, non violence is the way that we ought to take, following the example of Desmond Tutu, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Martin Luther King.
