Matt Friedman reflects upon the breadth and range of human slavery in the world today and how we can all play our part in helping to address this global problem.

Mr. Friedman is an international human trafficking expert with over 20 years of experience as an activist, program designer, evaluator, and manager. He is currently the Regional Project Manager of the United Nations Inter-Agency Project on Human Trafficking (UNIAP) in Bangkok, Thailand. This project represents an inter-agency coordinating body that links the United Nations system with governments and civil society groups in six countries: China, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.
